Mailing Christmas cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions. And receiving everyone's Christmas cards? Even better! I'm gearing up to send out our holiday cards this year (still don't have a picture yet, but it's fine! It's fine!) Addressing the cards is my favorite part! You may have seen some of my favorite envelope ideas on Instagram and I've compiled a list of all my favorite supplies! I often get asked if these will mail...and I'm here to say YES! As long as your writing is neat and legible - they'll do just fine! :) I've mailed all of these to test haha, and they didn't take any extra processing time and all got delivered! YAY!
Here's my favorite tried and true envelope addressing supplies:
White Chalk Marker:
I've gone through a few white makers and my favorites are these White Chalk Markers. They're not quite as "blobby" as paint markers, easy to write with, and show up great on a darker colored envelope!
Sharpies Acrylic Marker:
I just tried out these new paint markers and I'm OBSESSED! They are easy to use, come in a million colors, and I adore how they write.
Sharpie S-Note Dual Marker:
These markers have such great color and they're double sided! There's a chisel tip that's great for bold lettering, and a fine marker side.
Favorite Colored Markers:
I love these Crayola Super Tips markers! They're the best size to write addresses with - not too thin and not too thick!
Zebra Mildliner Highlighters:
I love these for accent colors and adding extra details. They're great for adding a ribbon or gingham behind the address!
Zebra Click Top Markers:
These are super thin tipped and great for adding little details and color!
Black Brush Marker:
Love the look these markers give to your envelope! I used these in my class ornament envelope!
White Gel Pens:
These are the best white gel pens I have found! They write smoothly and are perfect for adding details to your envelope.
Black Gel Pens:
My favorite gel pens! They're not only adorable, but they write super well too and the ink is refillable!
Cards + Envelopes:
I always keep stacks of cards on hand so I'm never rushing to the store last minute. I use all these cards and the stationery subscription keeps me stocked up every month! Right now they're only $2!!
Washi Tape:
My favorite tape! You can use these as you address or to seal the envelope on the back!
* I used the Sharpie Acrylic Paint Markers to get this look *
*The Meredith Blake envelope I only used the Sharpie S Note Dual markers!*
*Used a mix of the click top markers and Sharpie S-Note*
*Used the chisel tip of the Sharpie S-Note for the last name!*
*Added foliage and berries to make this envelope pop!*
