5 Easy Ways to Support Small Businesses This Holiday Season

It's (almost!) the most wonderful time of the year! As we head into the busiest season of the year, here are five ways you can support your favorite small businesses - plus a few of my favorite small shops! 

1. Shop local or online! 

Pop into your local small business storefront or check out their online shop. Small businesses often offer the special touches that big retailers simply can’t match! 2. Share the love on social media

If you're looking for a FREE way to support a small shop or hype up a friend's business, there's nothing better than a positive comment, shared post, or a tag! This small gesture goes a LONG way! 

3. Leave a thoughtful review 

Did you love the handmade ornament or the personalized t-shirt you bought from a small shop? Don’t keep it to yourself! Leaving a glowing review on platforms like Google, Etsy, or even the business’s social media pages can help future customers decide to make a purchase. Your honest, positive feedback can make a huge difference, especially during the competitive holiday shopping season.

4. Gift a subscription or membership! 

Talk about the gift that keeps on giving! These are some of my favorite gifts to give (and if I'm honest, to receive haha!) It's great ongoing support for businesses and something for the recipient to look forward to even after the holidays are over!
