WARNING! This post is full of all my time-saving, life changing, and adorably-cute supplies that make cutting out your printables 100 times easier. Yeah, yeah, that sounded overdramatic, but I'm serious! These supplies will save you HOURS when it comes to cutting out your printables!
Never fear, I'm sharing all my secrets - my favorite printer, the cardstock I use, how to cut the perfect circle in 0.02 seconds, and more!
Printer:
The question I get most asked about is what printer I use! This is the Canon Pixma printer and it works great! It's nothing fancy, I can find the ink at any of my local stores or on Amazon, and it prints great photos as well!
Hot Glue Gun:
I've had this inexpensive hot glue gun for years and it has worked so well! Here's a similar one. I use it when stringing together banners, making food toppers, or attaching flags to skewers! Don't forget to have extra glue sticks on hand, too!
2 Inch Hole Punch:
This is a GAME CHANGER for cutting out circles! The 2" punch size is fantastic and makes a seamless punch! All of our printables include 2 inch circles that you can use for food toppers, gift tags, table confetti, whatever your heart so desires!
Paper Cutter:
This is a MUST HAVE! I've been through quite a few paper slicers and this paper rotary cutter is by FAR my favorite one. I keep extra blades on hand so I can switch them out when they're getting dull.
Scissors:
I LOVE cute scissors and I love scissors that cut really well. Finding a pair that checks both boxes? SCORE! I really love these gold ones from Target and also lilac scissors too!
Cardstock:
I *always* print out my printables on cardstock! They last longer and look so much better! I usually grab this pack!
Laminator:
For years, I convinced myself I didn't need a laminator. Until one day, I pulled the trigger and GUESS WHAT? I use it all the time! It's honestly been SO NICE to have around. Found it on Amazon and also got myself a big box of extra laminating sheets, too!
Ribbon:
I have jars and jars of ribbon in my office! My favorite kinds are velvet ribbon, satin ribbon, and the big random ribbon bundle from Michaels!
Other Supplies:
I always keep BBQ skewers on hand for making flags, toothpicks for food toppers, and a twine or string for putting together banners!
These are the supplies I use every month for my printables! They make the process so seamless and easy! You can find our Magic Mama monthly printables here. Turn your ordinary afternoon into something MAGICAL. I make being the fun mom easy - so you can focus on creating those magical memories with your kiddos.
Each month you'll receive a brand new PDF bundle with everything you need to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Whether it's Thanksgiving, back to school, or National Ice Cream day, I've got you covered! Each printable bundle includes 25+ pages of pure fun!
